Our History

Chris Morgan, owner of Chris Morgan & Associates, Inc. began his career in 1985 working as a draftsman for Custom Home Designs, Inc., while he was studying Architecture at Lawrence Technological University.

In 1996 Chris went out on his own and started his own design firm, Residential Custom Planners, Inc., where he honed his skills designing custom homes and additions for his clients. After 2 ½ years Chris, along with a partner started a design/build firm, Morgan-Heller Associates, Inc. where they specialized in the designing and the building of award-winning, custom homes and additions in the metropolitan Detroit area. Chris sold his shares of the company at the end of 2014 and decided to forge back out on his own founding Chris Morgan & Associates, Inc. in February of 2015.

Today Chris continues to live out his passion of working with Clients to design and build the home or renovation project of their dreams. Chris Morgan & Associates, Inc. is a full service firm. We walk our Clients through the process of design and build. We start with conceptual designs, then space planning, final design, and construction documents. We then work with the Clients step-by-step as they select their finishes and ultimately see their project built and ready to move in.
